DOWNTOWN SAVANNAH MASTER PLAN

Urban Partners has had a longstanding relationship with the City of Savannah. We have helped plan and implement many of the city’s key downtown and neighborhood commercial development activities and created supportive programs to foster economic development in the city. Our work in Savannah has included the Broughton Street Development Plan, a refinancing and retenanting plan for the Old City Market, a feasiibility analysis and business plan for the Savannah Business Assistance Center and, most recently, participation in development of the Downtown Savannah Master Plan.
For this project, we assisted a multi-disciplinary team retained by the Savannah Development & Renewal Authority in the creation of a master plan for the City’s historic and culturally diverse Downtown area. We conducted detailed market analysis of retail, commercial, residential and hotel uses and assisted the client communicate available development opportunities to the community and establish consensus for those activities that most appropriately meet the needs identified by the community for this vibrant regional center.
