URBAN PARTNERS

Nina Singh Carlsen, AICP, is an Associate with Urban Partners, specializing in housing policy, real estate analysis, quantitative planning, and community engagement. She earned her Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania in 2026, with a focus on housing and real estate. Her interests include equitable housing, inclusive urban development, and community-centered planning. Nina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies, cum laude, from Syracuse University, where she conducted research on smart city development and public engagement.

Prior to joining Urban Partners, Nina worked with the City of Jersey City’s Division of Affordable Housing as a Data Analyst and Community Engagement Coordinator. In this role, she led development of the City’s 5-Year Housing Action Plan and supported implementation of a virtual affordable housing portal to improve access to housing resources. She also brings experience in civic engagement strategy through her work with municipal clients across North America, where she supported the design and evaluation of community engagement initiatives across planning, transportation, and sustainability efforts.
